In This Episode:
Mike and Tyler’s time this week starts with a trip back in time to northern New Jersey to learn from the rich life of Mr. Joe Chimenti. Joe’s amazing story winds through the Rocky Mountains, Boston, Minnesota, and eventually California where he settled down with his wife Debbie and his four boys. Joe shares how his life changed in an instant and in that moment he makes a decision that commits him to a life of service to his community. Today, he continues to strive to live his best life by following those things that his dad taught him growing up. Dad was quick to share wisdom like looking at the content of a person’s character, making sure that kids know they’re loved, and embracing every moment. Dad loved himself a good “crulla” (that’s NYPD for a Cruller donut) and he wore out his rosary beads from a promise made and kept. That legacy of dad’s faith lived on in Joe as he grew up knowing that God would answer his prayers. Joe teaches RMIT listeners that “there are only two things that matter…” Want to know what they are? Tune in to find out.
