In This Episode:
The guys get the chance to sit down with one of their new heroes, Sam Borquez. Sam is in a great place as a husband and a dad these days. With his wife, they have made some very intentional choices about what they are doing with their time and how they are raising their kids these days. The guys talk about old fashioned values like dinner at the family table, learning the value of hard work, and being careful about media influences. The net result is a powerful example of being present in kids’ lives. Where does his story start? How about a dishwashing job at a family restaurant. From those humble beginnings, Sam learns about the restaurant business, what strong families look like, and the kind of person that he wanted to be. Now, almost 30 years later, Sam is grateful for the lessons that his life has taught him, especially the things he learned the hard way. With his wife by side, he’s living a rich life and is excited about all the good things to come. Keep going Mr. Borquez!
