It’s still Monday night and that means it’s another New Episode Night on the Richest Men in Town (better late than never!). This week Mike and Tyler invite back one of their favorite guests of all time. Brian Grow returns to RMIT one year since his classic episode and he’s feeling all kinds of reflective. The guys get into everything from growing gardens and eating squash (even Mike’s doing it!) to “fog happiness” and seeking through study. Brian is learning the lessons that life with his wife Becki and his three kids (7, 4, and 1) has to teach him and his cup runneth over. Good thing he is getting good at sharing. The guys sure are taking notes. You can too.

Show Notes

Who Said It…

  • “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” –James Clear
  • “The way we talk to children becomes their inner voice.” –Peggy O’Mara
  • “What you aim at determines what you see.” -Jordan Peterson
  • “My personal experience is that answers to prayers often come slowly over an extended period of time. As we act upon the feelings of our hearts, feelings of our peace, comfort, and confirmation grow within us, and we know that we are on the right course.” -Elder Robert D. Hales
  • “Life is full of difficulties, some minor and others of a more serious nature. There seems to be an unending supply of challenges for one and all. Our problem is that we often expect instantaneous solutions to such challenges, forgetting that frequently the heavenly virtue of patience is required.” -Thomas S. Monson
  • “We’re all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn’t. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing.” –Charles Bukowski
  • “All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.” -Blaise Pascal
